Lincoln have confirmed that veteran goalkeeper Raul Navas will continue to play between the sticks for the Champions for at least one more season. The 37-year-old, who is highly regarded at the club, will this year compete for his place with Francis Solar, who was signed and youth prospect Bradley Banda who joined Lincoln from Manchester 62, both who joined earlier in the summer.
Navas spent eight years at his native Cadiz, before moving to Tenerife, Cordoba and after a short spell at Xeres CD joined Lincoln in 2014. His move to Gibraltar coincided with the club reaching the second round of the qualifying stage of the Champions League, with his inclusion for the 2015-16 season making the only foreign player not to be released at the end of last season.
