Lincoln are proud to announce the signing of 33-year-old Antonio Livramento, who took his first steps in football at one of Europe’s top clubs, Benfica. The left-footed attacking midfielder, who was born in Tavira, played at a host of other clubs after leaving last year’s Portuguese champions, finishing up last season with Lokomotiv Sofia. This season he left the club after Lokomotiv, that had finished third in the Bulgarian top flight, were regulated to the third division for not being able to pay its debts.
“He is a quality midfielder with a lot of experience who will do a good job for us,” said his manager Raul Procopio.
